I am sure everybody has heard by now, but Adam Yauch aka MCA of the Beastie Boys died today. A friend of mine texted me the news this morning and it bummed me out all day. I could talk about the great music he helped create or the movies and videos he directed, but I am sure everyone is at least aware of most of it. So instead I will say this, MCA was part of something amazing that managed to be many things to many people. He will be missed.
