Home sweet home

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, my life has been a little hectic these past couple of weeks. But you don't read this blog to hear about my personal life. I am visiting my parents for the weekend for a much needed break and while I am not really a fan of Motley Crue, this song is appropriate.

So I am not really a fan of any of the bands that make this song, but this one song is pretty freaking awesome.

The man responsible for my love of science fiction died today. I read Ray Bradbury's The Martian Chronicles when I was in elementary school and fell in love with it. Today's song is a tribute to one of the greatest sci-fi writers of all time.

I was watching music videos on youtube the other night when today's song popped up on the related videos side bar. This is another underrated 80's song that I absolutely love. Murray Head's "One Night In Bangkok" is about a chess master in Bangkok, and his lack of appreciation of the night life there. I wish I could find a higher quality video.
