I am pretty excited that Anamanaguchi is releasing a new album soon. These guys play chiptunes without relying on a bunch of NES nostalgia. They even admit to have never really played any of the older video games. I saw them play a couple of years ago and it was a great show. Hopefully they come through town again soon.
